Paul Bowles' 100th Birthday Celebration
Ensemble Parallèle will participate in the celebration of Paul Bowles' 100 year birthday celebration by performing the West-Coast premiere of three works. Choreographer Tandy Beal joins the Ensemble for the occasion. (4th February 2011)
Ensemble Parallèle at the Pacific Rim Festival
Join Ensemble Parallèle and conductor Nicole Paiement on the 21st of April at the Pacific Rim Festival for an all-Varèse concert entitled Seizing the Future, Edgard Varèse.
Forthcoming Chamber Opera at Herbst Theater
ENSEMBLE PARALLELE and its artistic team will bring yet another contemporary chamber opera to San Francisco next February at the Herbst Theater. Save the date: 26 and 27 February 2011
BLUEPRINT Season
Paiement conducts in the next BLUEPRINT Season, beginning October 9th at the SFCM Concert Hall with the West Coast premiere of Laura Schwendinger’s violin concerto. Wei Hi joins the ensemble as violin solo.
Wozzeck in the Press

Schwendinger Premiere
In September 2010, Paiement will conduct in Madison, the world premiere recording of Laura Schwendinger’s concerto for violin and orchestra entitled Chiaroscuro Azzuro.
New Commissions
PAIEMENT has commissioned a requiem for orchestra, soloists, chorus and visuals from composer Hi Kyung Kim, to be performed in November 2010. She has also commissioned a new chamber opera from composer Dante De Silva for performance with Ensemble Parallèle in 2012.

Paiement conducts on the new CD release: An 80th birthday tribute to an influential American composer: Chou Wen-chung (TROY1064-65)
Paiement Conducts Donizetti
Paiement conducts the full production of Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore with the UCSC Opera Theater in June 2010.
